Royalty and rights records,
with their paperwork proven.

Private company shares, fund interests, bonds and private debt, loans, mortgages, receivables and invoices; music catalogues and royalties, film and TV rights, patents, trade marks and licensing; carbon and biodiversity credits, water rights. Many are already regulated instruments; royalty and rights records in a Vault are the identity and evidence layer their issuers, custodians and buyers read.

What the Vault holds

The instrument, its register entry and every statement since.

Nothing reachable from the ledger identifies the instrument, its issuer or its holder. Originals are kept; corrections are stored as new versions. A private company share register entry, a patent record or a carbon credit registry serial is the natural key; the Vault seals what sits behind it.

Who registers, who reads

Issued by the register-keepers. Read by those who must rely on it.

The holder grants every scope; opens are logged.

Who registers

  • Issuers and registrars - the private company share register entry, certificate, each transfer.
  • Rights societies, fund administrators, IP and credit registries - patent records, royalty statements, carbon credit registry serials.
  • The holder - what no institution covers.

Who reads, under scope

  • Acquirers - the whole file, scoped to the deal.
  • Lenders - security agreements beside the valuation, under a collateral verification scope.
  • Auditors and regulated issuers - statements and eligibility data.
Verified History and Vault Score for this class

Royalty and rights records, stage by stage. The same published engine.

Vault Score is a verification score - whether the documents exist, who issued them and that they are unaltered since issue; never a valuation, a credit input or a judgement of the work.

Tokenise and finance

Already instruments. Tokenised by their issuers, verified through us.

Most of these assets are already securities or regulated credits, so tokenisation is the issuer's and the venue's act, within the Digital Securities Sandbox, MiFID or MiCA as applicable. Property Vault supplies the verified record and eligibility data. Roadmap · subject to approvals

TokenInstrument or pointer on the XRP Ledger; the register wins

Tokenisation is offered only by FCA-authorised issuers or Digital Securities Sandbox participants, for assets that meet a minimum Vault Score and a clean statutory record. Credits keep their registry serial and retirement status, so none is represented twice.

Tokenised royalties, tokenised intellectual property and receivables tokenisation all follow the same path - the issuer tokenises, the Vault supplies the record - launching through regulated partners, subject to regulatory approvals. How a pointer token works is on the asset tokenisation platform page.

Property Vault never hosts an offer, gates holders, runs a venue, holds keys or moves money.

The regulatory ground

  • DSSThe Bank of England and FCA Digital Securities Sandbox has been live since 8 Jan 2024 and runs to 2029; HSBC (13 Jul 2026) and ClearToken (18 Sep 2026) have passed Gate 2.
  • MiCAMiCA's crypto-asset service provider regime has applied across the EU since 30 Dec 2024, with transitional periods ending by 1 Jul 2026. It does not cover tokenised securities (MiFID).

Market context

Forecasts model instruments like these. Each assumes a verified record.

  3. $18.9tnby 2033Ripple & BCG, Apr 2025
  4. $30.1tnby 2034Standard Chartered, Jun 2024

The low figure excludes physical assets; our argument is that it is wrong to. Tokenised property failed when the record went stale - unpaid taxes, blight and litigation (RealT, Jul 2026); illiquidity (USDR, Oct 2023). A live record fed by institutional data is the fix - the layer Property Vault builds.

Questions

Royalty and rights records: questions.

What issuers, registrars, rights holders and lenders ask about recording an instrument or right in a Vault.

What are royalty and rights records in Property Vault?

One Vault per instrument or right: the register entry, certificate or registry serial held off-chain as the natural key; the agreements, statements, licences, assignments, valuations and audit reports sealed on upload with an integrity receipt; and every issue, transfer, payment, audit and revaluation in order, graded by who issued it.

Does the Vault replace a private company share register?

No. The statutory register is kept by the company and its registrar and always wins. The Vault records the entry, seals the certificate and the stock transfer forms, and gives an acquirer or lender one scoped read instead of a data-room rebuild.

How are tokenised royalties or tokenised intellectual property handled?

The issuer tokenises; the Vault verifies. Most royalty and IP interests are already regulated instruments, so any token is the act of an FCA-authorised issuer or Digital Securities Sandbox participant, within MiFID, MiCA or the sandbox as applicable. Property Vault supplies the record and eligibility data only - launching through regulated partners, subject to regulatory approvals.

Can a carbon credit registry serial be recorded without double-counting?

Yes. A credit keeps its registry serial and retirement status in the Vault, so a credit that has been retired or represented elsewhere is visible as such and none is represented twice.

What do patent records and receivables look like in a Vault?

A patent carries its office number, grant, renewals, licences and assignments; a receivable carries the invoice, the assignment or financing agreement and each payment. Receivables tokenisation, where a regulated issuer offers it, reads the same sealed file.

Who can see the record?

Only readers the holder scopes - an acquirer for a deal, a lender beside a valuation, an auditor or a regulated issuer for statements and eligibility data. There is no public lookup; every open is logged and every scope expires.

Give every right a record its buyers can rely on.
