Getting started

Live in pilot
What is Property Vault?

The digital identity for an asset: one Vault holding its ownership, documents, history and verification, shared only on the Owner's terms. Free for Owners - Get started.

What can I add today?

Homes, live in pilot at propertyvault.world/homes - a real verification engine, sealed documents, scoped sharing; one demonstration record is public. Watches and jewellery are next, then Vehicles, each launching with registering partners; other classes are designed for - register interest.

Who issues a Vault in the Homes pilot?

A participating professional. Paddick Engineering, a Leeds structural engineering firm, is the founding issuer in the Homes pilot. Request a Vault ID with your postcode and we will tell you the next step and when owner sign-up opens.

Vault ID & documents

Live in pilot
What is a Vault ID?

The permanent identifier of an asset's Vault: PV-GB-{AREA}-{6 digits}. A UPRN or a stated reason is required; natural keys stay off-chain.

What happens when I upload a document?

It is hashed and given an integrity receipt - hash and timestamp proving it unchanged. Originals are kept; corrections become new versions.

How do I check a document has not been altered?

Run a document integrity check: your browser hashes the file and the seal's signature is checked against the receipt. Comparison with the XRP Ledger arrives with anchoring, which is launching.

Vault Score explained

Live in pilot
What is the Vault Score?

A verification score - whether the documents exist, who issued them and that they are unaltered since issue; never a valuation, a credit input or a judgement of the work.

How is it computed?

By a published rules engine: Building Control 1.0, registered professional 0.9, firm 0.7, owner-provided 0.4; owner-only evidence capped at 65; listed-but-unverified ×0.8. Method on Vault Score.

Sharing scopes

Live in pilot
How do I share my Vault?

Through a scope - an owner-granted, time-limited, role-limited link. Owner, agent-buyer, insurer-surveyor and solicitor scopes are live. Scopes hide documents, not history; opens are logged.

How long does a scope last?

7, 30 or 90 days, as the Owner chooses when granting it - at most 30 days for a valuation or regulatory purpose and 60 for lending or insurance underwriting; a revoked token stops at once. Your own access link lasts a year and your professional can re-issue it. Every open is logged by scope, day and device.

Is my Vault public?

No. Vaults are private by default, with no lookup by address, registration or serial. Only one demonstration record is public.

We never host an offer, run a venue, hold keys or move money. Tokenise · Lending. Not an offer or a financial promotion.

XRP Ledger questions

Launching
What do you write to the ledger?

A daily anchor - the Merkle root of the day's integrity receipts. Integrity anchoring runs as a rehearsal on the XRPL testnet: Merkle roots of keyed commitments are written to the test network, which can be reset, and listed on the public anchor page; mainnet anchoring is on the roadmap, subject to approvals. Later, a pointer token per Vault ID - a pointer, never title - after the data-protection impact assessment. Verify a receipt.

What do you never write?

Documents, personal data, natural keys, scores, legal title. Nothing on the ledger identifies a property or person; the statutory register wins. We hold no keys, money or goods.

Account & billing

What does each tier cost?

Owners: free. Pro: talk to us. Markets: from launch. See pricing.

I cannot sign in.

Professionals: sign in with your registered email; if that fails, write to hello@propertyvault.world from that address. Owners: open your Vault from the link your professional sent you - owner sign-in is launching. Lost the link? Ask your professional to re-issue it, or write to hello@propertyvault.world.

Privacy & data

Where are my documents, and who sees them?

Off-ledger; the ledger only receives a Merkle root of receipt hashes. You choose who reads them, by scope. Security · Privacy.

What are my rights?

Under UK GDPR: access, correction, erasure, portability, objection. Erasure removes your documents and data; an anchored hash cannot be reversed into them.

Export your record

Can I export my record?

Yes. Ask at hello@propertyvault.world for your documents, timeline and receipts in open formats. On sale, you transfer the Vault - history intact.

What happens to my Vault when I sell the asset?

You transfer it to the new owner with the history intact; transfer is a first-class event and any pointer token follows it. There is no toll. Transfer with history intact is launching - see how a digital asset identity moves with the asset.

What if Property Vault stopped operating?

Receipts are plain hashes you can check without us; once anchoring reaches mainnet, the anchor sits on a public ledger; the export schema is open.
